There are traffic meter lights are the bottom of the Toronto bound ramp to the QEW at Winston Churchill Blvd. For some reason The MTO has erected a sign in French as well as English.

Formerly Highway 122
This is Royal Windsor Driver just off the QEW in Oakville. Highway 122 was designed to be a feeder road for Ford's Oakville Assembly Plant. This is a railway underpass with 1950's design features. Immediately behind is another railway overpass but od steel girder construction. Highway 122 was eventually routed out to Southdown Road in Clarkson. It was downloaded to the two municipalities on April 1 1970

CREDIT RIVER BRIDGE
The widening of the QEW at the Credit River has begun. Seen from the corner of Stavebank Road north and Premium Way.

Distance sign on Highway 405
Highway 405 connects the Queenston Lewiston Bridge to USA with the QEW at the east end of the Garden City Skyway in St Catharines. No local traffic is permitted past Stanley Avenue. This is for motorists who have entered Canada. Prior to Y2004 local traffic could exit just before the Q-L bridge but Security Improvemnts changed that.

Highway 405 and QEW Junction
Ogden Avenue Pedestrian Bridge - 001
This was built in the early 1960's to allow school children from housing developements on the north side of the QEW to safely cross the highway to attend the schools which were built along Ogden Avenue. It is to be replaced suring the upcoming reconstruction of the QEW bewteen Browns Line and Cawthra Road.

Peace Bridge
The QEW connects to the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie. The two flags in the centre mark the International Border over the Niagara River. Buffalo is on the US side.
QE-427 interchange
The east (Toronto|) end of the QEW after 1995. The lanes to the right are leading to Highway 427 north. Continuing straight is the FG Gardiner Expressway owned and maintained by the City of Toronto. March 2005

Rainbow Bridge Niagara Falls
The Rainbow Bridge, just downstream from the Falls of Niagara, is the end of Highway 420; a short expressway to connect the QEW to Niagara Falls . December 2005.
The Monument
This statue was unveiled in 1939 just prior to the outbreak of World War II to mark the eastern end of the QEW in Toronto.Too many cars collided with it so it was moved to a location near Lake Ontario.
