They bought Active Cartage who had been on Belfield Road in Rexdale. Active was pole trailer specialists " Got a Long Load call Active" . Active was moved to Milton. Ultrahaul and Sandstone Transport were bought and merged. Today GGC has John Grant Haulage, Active Transport, Empire Transportation, Hutton Transport, Hurdman Bros., Active Logistics in Lackawanna NY and BJG Warehousing.
