Moving Vans have long been a subject for my camera whenever possible, There are two pictures in this gallery from the 1970's.

An independant mover from Victoria BC. Brought Jon Jones stuff from Duncan to Mississauga The truck is driven by Andy Breton.
This was the only Mayflower truck I saw while in Indy back in 77.
The crane in the background was hoisting coaches and beds to an upstairs window, These towns were built narrow and tall.
April 30, 2006. Repair garage in Mississauga. Owned at the time of the photo by Don Jeanotte it is still owned by Brad Moore. It has been repainted white. (July 2023)

It was a cold Sunday morning (-25C) near 401 and Dixie Road.
Picture added 3-6-22. It is still on the road with United VL owned by Steve Cashmore. Before that it was owned by John Boldt who would park at K.I.D., Les Fraser and originally Rick Jeanette.
Parked at the motel at Dixie and Matheson Blvd in Mississauga. Presently part of the Comfort Inn chain this was the Journey's End in the past
Seen at K.I.D. Equipment in Oakville who are dealers for Kentucky brand trailers.
My mother had her effects shipped back from Florida following the death of her second husband. We met the driver at Interport and cleared them through Customs. He came to the house and delivered the things. He had several other small shipments on and was trying to finish up in Ottawa by the end of the day.

Freightliner "condo" style tractors were popular with moving van operators. This was being unloaded at one of the new townhouses on St Lawrence Drive in Port Credit.
