Windsor Ontario 1995 Merci a Rene Buron

The trailer on the first photo is a real peace of anthology. Only a handful of Champlain Sept-Iles trailers was painted in TNT post 1986 worldwide standard livery because the integration of the division into TNT Overland Express in 1987. The photo was taken at the Overland Quebec City terminal in mid-90’s.

Western Truck Lines was taken over by Overland Express of Woodstock Ontario circa 1970. Their Toronto terminal was at 961 Middlegate Road in Cooksville and I would see these big Ford slab cabs turning from Highway 10 to Highway in Cooksville. After the merger the new carrier operated as Overland-Western until the TNT takeover.

April 2016 we see a TST daycab Volvo headed west on Highway 401.

Champlain Sept Isles was bought by Overland for access to Quebec.

TST Overland city unit October 8 2013

Here is an unknown outside carrier bringing a TST Overland Express trailer on the Toronto bound QEW east of Hamilton. It was probably loaded at a partner carrier terminal in the USA and being hauled to Maingate Drive. April 2013
