In 78 Domtar bought out Charles Harris and Sons Transport in Burlington. They started painting their trucks white with blue stripes but had Harris on the door between the two blue stripes. They hauled a lot of steel and lumber from the north and into the states. They also hauled steel locally for Stelco and Dofasco. They hauled a lot of paper from the Cornwall mill to southwestern Ontario. They were also a transfer station for Normick lumber. Guys would haul it from the north on tri axles and we would unload it and send it to the states on tandems. Then in early 1980 they closed down the Burlington yard and moved the operation to the Domtar wharehouse on Northwest Drive in Malton , giving up on the flatbed work. Eventually Glengarry bought Harris from Domtar and changed the name to Truckit.)
