Milton - old right of way

Albion Station (Originally it was the Centreville station and later known as Albion Station. It’s original rail line was the Hamilton & Northwestern. The station was located on the Gore Rd (4th line) just north of Old Church Rd (20th sideroad))
Beach Sub crossed Canal (The paved pathway is on the alignment of the Beach Sub on the east side of the Burlington Ship Canal.)

Beach Sub Junction (This picture was taken in Burlington  where the Beach Sub joins the main line Oakville Sub in October 1994.
The tracks were likely realigned in the mid 1960's when the Milton Sub was upgraded  as the Halton Sub when the new Concord yard was opened.)
Beach Sub Torn Out (March 30 2008. We found were the Beach Sub had been pulled up. There were still piles of ties awaiting disposal.)
Burlington Junction station (This station building was built by the Grand Trunk Railway where the Hamilton and Northwestern crossed its line. It was moved away from trackside to the Burlington Fire Department property. It has been restored.)
CN Halton Sub mile 30.8 looking south (The Halton Sub is CN's mainline to  Toronto from Chicago and  other US points. In 2015 there was a grade separation at Derry Road in Milton. Former branchline to mainline.)

Georgetown Trail (A trail that skirts to the west of Georgetown but east of Trafalgar Road had the appearance of an old railway right of way. This could be a spur of the HNW)
Halton Sub - Vern exploring siding. (March 2006. There was a pocket track or siding  on the Halton Sub at Lower Base Line that could  have been for helper engines.)

Halton Sub MP 30 (The CN Halton Sub is the Hamilton and Northwestern line between Burlington and Georgetown  after upgrading. We are looking north.  The Scotch Block Resevoir was built nearby and this track possibly curves around there.)
Milton - former CN station (This is the second station ; not built by HNW but by GTR after takeover. The HNW built station was converted to a tool shed  and razed in 1964.)

Milton - the old line -1 (The Halton Sub was routed around the town of Milton on an embankment but the older tracks were left in place in a park in town,)
SILVER (The single track is the former Grand Trunk line to Kitchener where it joins the Halton Sub. We are facing to Georgetown and Brampton. The dual track line comes from Milton. The Halton sub is the former HNW after being upgraded.. Picture taken late January 2005.)
South Simcoe  136 (The South Simcoe  is a tourist railway operating on the former Hamilton and NWstern  between Tottenham and Beeton. 
Locomotive 136 is a former CP)
