CP eXpressway train

These are pictures of the tracks and buildings on the CPR in southern Ontario that I have taken.

East of Canpa Connector near Islington Avenue. CP had a small station at Islington.
On October 13 I rode a GO Train as it detoured up the former CP Canpa Connector around the Humber River Bridge replacement project on the Lakeshore line. This is some of the cars being held in Lambton Yard.
In Hamilton Ontario. CP took over the operations of the Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo Railway. This was one of the spurs leading to the Hamilton Steel mills.
CP established the Milton Yard as the Toronto Terminal for their TOFC eXpressway train. This train hauled ordinary truck trailers between Montreal and Toronto and for a short time between Detroit and Toronto.
Formerly the Toronto terminal for the eXpressway train to Montreal; the Milton yard is now a Transload Terminal. It is for tank cars to trucks.
