There weretwo long time refrigerated carriers based in the Niagara Peninsula. Zavitz Bros and Gerald Zavitz Ltd. Zavitz Bros was sold and then closed. Their sons opened trucking companies Zav-Cor and K.A.M. ZavCor opened a dry van division as Truk-King. Truk-King was spun off as an independant company. I have kept the Truk-King pictures with the Zavitz Carriers collection. Gerald Zavitz Ltd operates as GZL.

Although GZL might now be classified as a "G" carrier the name was an acronym for Gerald Zavitz Ltd. This older Freightliner was a Niagara Falls to Toronto tractor. It might be off the road by 2019.
