Tracks curved through Niagara Falls on their way to the bridge across the gorge.
In May 1999 there was one set of rails still in place as we look east of Highway 24 towards Waterford.
December 2005 and the "Michigan Central" bridge between Niagara Falls Ontario and Niagara Falls NY has been discontinued. The final operator was Canadian Pacific and the CP and the City of Niagara Falls came to an agreement to discontinue train movements through downtown NIagara Falls. The CP traffic was moved to the International Bridge between Fort Erie and Blackrock (Buffalo) NY.To increase security in the wake of the 9-11-01 terrorist attack large plates were installed to impede people from using the abandoned bridge to infiltrate the USA.
Overgrown right of way near Niagara Falls Casinos. The CASO line ran across the top of Niagara Gorge and the town grew around it. This was a short stretch of land seen from an overpass in 2008.

Mileage post seen at STnE yard in Tillsonburg , November 2009.. Could this be from the CASO line? It is not a CN standard mileage sign[ either old or new.) It shows NF (Niagara Falls) as the control point.
Although seen in Caledonia which was not on CASO this is likely a CASO marker.
This short street near the Skylon is an overpass over the route of the old CASO line Right Of Way. October 2009.
Regent Street - NOTL. The Canada Southern had a branch to this port at themouth of the Niagara River with Lake Ontario. I can remember seeing a boxcar sitting on a piece of track in this area somewhere around 1960 to 65. Many changes here over the years but I think the tracks might have been on Regent Street.
A short stretch of track with lots of adjacent ground in Tillsonburg, June 24 2006
Another underpass in Niagara Falls beneath the tracks to the M-C bridge. This line was abandoned in 2001.
April 2002 Vern and Rob explored the relics of the Canada Southern lines in Waterford Ont.
